Privacy policy
Prota is a gut health companion, and it is built so that the sensitive part of your life it touches, what you eat and how you feel, stays with you.
Your health data stays on your device
- Your meals, photos, check-ins, symptoms, supplements, protocols, and gut score live only on your device. Prota keeps no copy on any server.
- Deleting them in the app deletes them.
Meal photos and AI reading
- Meal photos are sent for AI reading only when the AI service is enabled and you ask Prota to read a meal. The photo is used for that single reading, is not stored, and is not used to train models.
- With the AI service off, nothing leaves your device.
Your optional account
- An account is optional. If you create one, it carries only an email address. It never carries health data.
- Once accounts ship, account deletion is available inside the app and removes the server record.
What Prota never does
- No ads, no tracking, no selling of data.
- No diagnosis, no treatment. Prota is a wellness app; your prescriber and pharmacist always come first.
